The 3rd, 4th and 5th of September saw Luke Wakeling, Peter Boylson, and Steve Coghlan make the three and a half hour plane trip to hot and humid Darwin in order to compete in AISL's Aus Cup 4 which was held in conjunction with the Northern Territory's ISSF State Titles.
This event was the last hitout for our Commonwealth Games representatives prior to Delhi and as a result provided great competition and experience for three of WA's local ISSF shooters who performed well throughout the event ...

ROY HOLTFRETER MEMORIAL SHOOT
30TH, 31ST OF JULY & 1ST OF AUGUST 2010.
With foggy mornings, ice-cold nights but beautiful sunshine days, Northam & Districts Gun Club held their Roy Holtfreter Memorial Shoot.
Northam & Districts Gun Club Members are very honored to be associated with the founder of WACTA and the Northam Gun Club, and all other honors achieved by Roy.
The club room was covered in Memorabilia of Roy Holtfreter, from his sashes dated from 1954 to 2004, with Medals and Life Member Badges from Nationals, Masters Games, ACTA, WACTA, Interstate Clubs and Local clubs within Western Australia.
Friday afternoon was Event 1, Thank God its Friday, 50 Tgt Point Score.
With 38 shooters in contention for prizes.

Saturday morning was a delayed start with fog covering the trap houses, however went it lifted all 93 shooters were well on their way to shooting Event 2 of the weekend being 10 tgt Single Barrel Cash Divide, directly followed by Event 3 THE ROY HOLTFRETER MEMORIAL EVENT of 50 tgt Point Score.(Yes that’s right 60 tgts straight up, it sorted the men from the boys.)
ROY HOLTFRETER MEMORIAL EVENT was proudly won by Tony Burnard of the Dream Team with a score of 150/150 the only possible.
